An intimate portrait of longing, memory, and a summer that slipped away.

August is an independent fan film inspired by Taylor Swift's song of the same name. I wrote, directed, produced, and edited the entire piece, crafting an original narrative that visually interprets the song’s themes of nostalgia, unspoken love, and fleeting moments.

From the beginning, I focused on building a cinematic tone—developing characters, story beats, and visual metaphors that echo the emotional arc of the lyrics. I oversaw every aspect of production, from casting and location scouting to the final color grading and music sync.

The result is a visual experience that stands as a love letter to the feeling of almost—capturing the bittersweet essence of a story that was never quite real, but never really gone.
