A behind-the-scenes dive into the sound, craft, and collaboration of music-making.

This audiovisual piece documents the creation of Rubato Jazz Project’s EP at Day Art Music, a recording studio and independent label. I was part of the technical and production crew, working across multiple areas to bring the project to life.

 

My responsibilities included managing live audio monitoring for the musicians, assisting with lighting setup, and supporting camera operation during the recording sessions. I also contributed to the on-set organization and helped ensure the audiovisual and sound elements remained in sync throughout the production process.

 

This project gave me hands-on experience in a real studio environment, where collaboration, precision, and creative flow were essential to capturing the authenticity of the music.
